Overview
CardiLog stores your blood pressure history on your phone. There's no account to create and we don't keep a copy of your log on a server. To understand how the app is used and to handle subscriptions, the app sends some usage data to two service providers. This policy explains exactly what is sent.
Your health data
Your readings, tags, notes, pulse checks and history are stored locally on your device. CardiLog doesn't sync your log to any cloud service. If you connect Apple Health, the app writes blood pressure and heart rate to Health and can import blood pressure from it, only with your permission. PDF, CSV and backup files are created on your device and only leave it if you choose to share them.
Product analytics (PostHog)
CardiLog uses PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the United States, to see which features are used and where the app can improve. When you use the app, it sends events such as screens viewed, buttons tapped, and actions like saving a reading. Some events include health-related values: the systolic, diastolic and pulse numbers of a saved reading, its stage, tags and location tag; pulse check results; and onboarding answers such as your age, goals and any diagnosis you select. Events are linked to a random identifier generated by the app, not to your name, email or Apple ID. We don't send the text of your notes or your name. We use this data only to improve CardiLog, never for advertising, and we don't sell it.
Purchases (Apple and RevenueCat)
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. CardiLog uses RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription. RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription status tied to an anonymous app identifier. Apple also collects standard purchase and download information under its own privacy policy.
Third parties
Apart from the service providers above, we don't share your data. We don't use advertising networks, and we don't sell or share your data with data brokers.
Children's privacy
CardiLog is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your controls
You can export your history as a PDF or CSV at any time, and deleting the app removes its locally stored data from your device. To ask us to delete the analytics data linked to your app identifier, email diyanshu@speedmvps.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date below. Continued use of CardiLog after a change means you accept the updated policy.
