Who makes CardiLog
CardiLog is an iPhone app for logging blood pressure, built by Speed AI Labs. We started it because most BP apps are tied to one brand of monitor, and most paper logs never make it to the doctor. CardiLog works with any cuff: type the numbers, scan the monitor's display, or import readings from Apple Health.
The guides on this site are written by The CardiLog Team, the same people who build the app.
CardiLog vs. Cardilog Pty Ltd
CardiLog is an iPhone blood pressure log made by Speed AI Labs. It is not affiliated with Cardilog Pty Ltd or its app "Cardilog: High Blood Pressure". The two apps have similar names but are separate products from separate companies.
On the App Store, CardiLog is listed as "Blood Pressure Log: CardiLog" (also shown as "CardiLog: Blood Pressure AI") with the seller Speed AI Labs LLP. The listing linked from this site is the official one.
How we write our guides
- Every medical number comes from a primary source, such as the AHA/ACC, ESC, NICE, NHS or CDC, and each guide lists the sources it used.
- Where guidelines disagree (for example, AHA vs. ESC thresholds), we say so instead of picking one quietly.
- Anything we say about CardiLog is checked against a written list of what the app does and doesn't do. If a feature doesn't exist, we don't describe it.
- Each page shows when it was published and when it was last updated. We revise guides when guidelines change.
Our guides explain general information. They aren't medical advice, and they're not a substitute for your doctor.
Medical disclaimer
CardiLog is not a medical device and doesn't diagnose or treat any condition. If you get a reading above 180/120 mmHg with symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath or trouble speaking, call your local emergency number.
